I know this has been covered elsewhere but I am undecided.

I am looking for a new pair of polaroids. The ones I have just now are the dogs B's.  Problem is they were expensive. I am looking for a less expensive option for clambering around banks and dropping on a regular basis.

Finding glasses at a decent price is not the issue. ebay is overrun with "bargains".

What I am looking at is lens colour. My current ones are grey, which is great in bright conitions. I know many of you prefer amber/orange. I have seen more recently green lenses as an option.

What are your thoughts?

I am also going to have to consider the prescription route, I am convinced I miss a lot of fish because I cannot see the fly clearly at distance.

are those clip on sunglasses any good, need to change glasses when tying flies to leader :?

I don't mind either although amber makes the day seem warmer. I dislike heavily tinted glasses on any hue.
