Top tip, didn't realise that. What floro do you recommend? I've fell oot with the stuff, due to constant breakages, so just stick to nylon.
Quote(yup i get them too  )
Thank God, I thought it was just me

According  to Magnus and Ardbeg, it is also an environmental disaster, I have stopped using it for that reason (and the fact it breaks too easy)

I swear by braided loops and have never had one fail. They are white in colour from wychwood and you can get floating or others.Once you trim the braid at the rubber sleeve add a drop of glue and roberta is your sex change uncle/aunty

I make my own from hollow braided backing, much cheaper :)

?1 for three loops for some makes is cheaper than backing.I haven't needed to buy backing for 3 years.

I bought hollow braid backing when it first came out, filled my reels with it and I am still using what is left to make loops. I still have the spool and it is marked ?3.99 and I have made up more than 12 loops with it :)
