Swithun, your biggest problem is going to be getting delivery before Saturday. You might be better gong to a tackle shop to be sure. If looking for a cheapish rod suitable for lochs, you could do far worse than Daiwa. Avoid the soft action Shakespeares  and the like.

I've ordered from glasgow Angling Centre via phone or internet before and got next day delivery. Very impressive service! I'm not just talking a bit of line or a few flies either. Managed to snap the top section of a 10' 7weight (don't ask!) and then phoned them up about 3 pm. A new top section arrived in the post at 9.30 the next morning - brilliant. Wouldn't think you'd have a problem getting your new kit by Saturday Swithun.
