thanks for the replys,i ordered a pair off ebay a size bigger because the last pair of neoprenes i bought were diawa and they were under size i had to lie them in the footwell of the motor with heat on them at full blast too soften the boot so that i could get them on.

I ordered a pair of these at the back end of last season and have not used yet in action but they certainly look great. I have a question though about stocking foot waders and boots. Do you also need to wear woollen socks over the neoprene to protect from rubbing? I have a friend who does this and wondered if it was necessary?

I wear thin socks over my wader neoprene socks - that was a tip I got from a friend who went through the neoprene socks on his waders in 3 years. They work very well. The breathables are now 13 years old and still look new.

I've told you about it before.  A poly bag over the sock foot and then pull your boots on.  Makes the on/off process easier and I've never had a problem with the neoprene foot.

That's a good idea. I'll try it
