Joint problem

Recieved my new top section for my grey's today :D only problem is when i join the new section with it's neighbour,the top section is running all the way down too the eye whipping of said neighbour and is really quite slack :evil: help please :? do i send it back and hope i will receive a narrower top section,therefore a tighter fit,or has anyone any knowledge of fly rod joint restorer,and is it any good :?: any suggestion's well appreciated lad's,desperado stages here :?:

Beeswax rubbed onto the male spiggot usually does the trick,whatever you do don`t try my dad`s old trick of slipping a blade of grass between male & female,the top section ends up able to spin around like a peerie!!

Thank's Ordie,alway's done this anyway,phoned grey's and to their credit,i have to send them the rod and they will address the problem and send it back to me :D
