Hiya - going to buy one of the Wildfisher lines - a 4 weight and have hit upon the usual conundrum - do I buy the DT or WF and does it really matter at these light weights - most of my fishing is within a few rod lengths at most - oh and why is the sage green in only WF or am I missing something?

Alistair,

No difference at all for most of your fishing. The first 32 feet or so is identical, so add a leader to that and you have upwards of 40' before you even start to notice a difference. As a river fisher I would use either line, but for stillwaters the WF will give a wee bit more distance on the shoot.

Protect the edge.

You can also use smaller reels with WF lines - or get more backing on your reel.

All the above is quite correct, but if you go for the DT just cut it in half and you have two lines for the price of one:D
