Its been a while since a bought my fishfinders but this seems like a very good price for a quality finder.

That does not seem bad at all for a known quality make.

I dont like the term ''fishfinder'' but its just easier to call them that. Depth finder is a better name really.Like you say thats what we use them for.The wee fishy icons are only good for moral when the fishing is slow.

Just as i was thinking i would nt be spending much more this season !

fergie

A huge thumbs up from me for the Ocean Tackle Store in Shetland. It's run by Charlie and Valerie Hunter and they specialise in quality and innnovative sea fishing gear. Very knowledgeable of the fishing around Shetland and finer folk you truly couldn't meet.

That does look like a good buy, does it have all the features you need for ferox fishing fergie?
Let them go.

If it shows the depth accurately and can show me the drop offs id be happy with it. It is the basic model but should still do this. The next model up would probably be what id go for as 90% of my fishing is trolling and my sonar is one of the most important parts of my set up.
