Do any of you use Leeda aerosol floatant for dries?

Fishtales

I used to and found it very good. Until I thought about all the spray I was wasting every time I pressed the button :) Only so much goes on the fly and the rest goes all over your hand and into the atmosphere, not very economical :)
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

I use it on occasion, it works fine but as Sandy says not very economical.

Go for mucilin, cheap as chips, lasts ages and works a treat.

For small flies with a big footprint (like parachutes) I don't usually use any floatant. For flies with a lot of dubbing or are otherwise chunky I use Gink or sometimes just rub in mucilin paste if it is warm enough to semi-liquefy it.

Protect the edge.

Use to use it but stopped for the same reason as others. But, I do miss its other uses. On a very hot day (you guys in Scotland may not know what they are but I'll carry on anyway :crap). On a very hot day, a quick spray on the back of the neck has fantastic cooling properties and does away with the need for a life jacket too. :)
