It's me again asking for help :)
Looking on the dreaded ebay(again) and there
are some electric outboard motors for sale
Rhino and Shakespeare are thes good makes?
Also what kind of thrust would i need?
Not needing it too troll just to get me up the loch
and too help with relatively short drifts.

Dunkeld

They are both good makes but check some mainstream suppliers before plunging on eBay - the Shakespeares can be bought from Newmill for the same or less. Minimum 34lb thrust for a normal 14 footer should do but don't forget the battery and charger. Carrying the battery (and possibly a spare) any distance is a real pain - I have seen guys with converted Golf trolleys or shopping trolleys just for teh batteries.

Cheers

Cheers Dunkeld
Still slightly cheaper on buy it now but only just!
In these situations I tend to pay the small amount extra
to buy either local or to be able to meet and speak to real people
But yoe never know I might get lucky in an auction when I can
prise my wallet open. New rod must come first but I do want a motor( and
rodS reels line etc )
Again cheers for the info
