Swithun i looked for that seafishing mag that had the kayak details in it, but i couldnt find it, but know they used garmin sonars on thier kayaks.

Do a google search on kayak fishing, there is tons of stuff about it there are guys in the USA that go fishing for sharks in kayaks, they will have the info you are looking for.
