Those Bergens look a lot more comfortable than the awful pear shaped thing I used to hump about in the Paras in the mid 70s. Having said that I am not into the military look. No camo or khaki for me thanks.

Last time I was in Bergen it rained every day.

Jokes aside that has to be a great deal.  Lots of groovy features (that's a 1960s weekend hippy phrase by the way  :D)

I could do with a 100ltr sack for backpacking, think I'll  get one while they are that price.

Fishtales

Remember they are heavy, 2.5 Kgs before you put anything in it
Don't worry, be happy.

That's actually pretty light for a 100 ltr heavy duty bag Sandy. My old 65ltr Karrimor, a great sack, weighs the same empty.

we only needed our webbing. we weren't expected to survive long enough to need anything else. besides which, we could always rely on the paras to be coming up behind with their huge bergens  (IV RGJ)
