Does anyone know if writers are paid for their articles in this new mag?

I haven't.  Probably because they couldn't afford me  :D

No idea if the more 'famous' writers have....

It's  disappointing to read that. If they don't pay their writers the mag is doomed in the long term. Writing for free for free publications is one thing but I can't see that model being sustainable.

Have they considered groping about for a bit of crowd funding. Seems to be all the rage at the moment.

I'm pretty sure Pete is intending to pay contributors as per the 'normal' model. Maybe he needs a few FOC contributions initially to get things off the ground?

Mine came in the post today, from what Iíve read so far itís excellent. The printing quality is also really nice, a bit more like a fancy catalogue than a fishing magazine  for £9 I think itís worth it, thereís also a bit on Scottish loch fishing that Iím looking forward to reading.
