Going hill loch fishing for a few days in September.
Just wondering what flies people are using this time of the season?
Also is there much chance of dry fly action?
Cheers.
Kev.

Beat me to it. Daddies and nothing else.
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

A large cicada pattern - size 10 or above -  with at least 6 rubber legs.

A while since i fished for troot in sept but a daddy muddler used to do well for me. Other things like these and similar are worth a chuck at the back end as well

Thanks guys.
Looks like big dries and fry imitations are the way to go.
Will add a couple of cicadas to the box also.
Can't believe the seasons on its way out already!

Need to get a night up the hills with the daddies and the chernobyl ants.
