Hill loch gold

No luck with the good fish you hooked there fred.

I was also out for troot today but it was poor, 4 or 5 bandies and nothing rising. Tried the stinchar first, then the girvan. I did hook a salmon & sea troot on nymphs on the stinchar but the girvan was a waste of time. The water has been low for so long it is full of algae and slime, as well as quite a few leaves now too. Was pulling algae off my flies every other cast.

Aye Alan, every now and then that burn throws up a good 'un Shame I lost it, but that's the way it goes. Funny but I just knew it was going to come off. You just get that feeling sometimes. :)

And as for the netting of the next fish ............................

Unlucky with the whumper Fred, might give it a go myself if the rain isn't too heavy next week.
