Thought this may be of interest

Mate ordered a Minn Kota Endura 55 from Bass Pro, $249.99, got charged $20 shipping, turns out it should've been $75, but as it was their mistake and it had delayed the order, they honoured the $20.

Imagine his surprise when the outboard arrived today, 6 days later, not a card saying "you owe us ..."

Well chuffed he is  :D,

Aye, when you don’t have a decent health service or any real social  welfare system taxes can be much lower and you still have loads of spare cash to invade and destroy any country you don’t like that can’t fight back

Wee update.

He got an invoice yesterday, which he expected, for tax and customs.
Total works out at ?157.

Anyone know if it's worth buying a minn kota or other leccy outboard second hand?
I've seen a few advertised, but don't know much about them.

Hello BD,

I had a look at the engines in Bass Pro when I was over earlier this year, wee bit big for a suitcase.
When I visited it the 1st time, it had just opened, and I wasn't an angler.
This time I am, and I went prepared  :D.
