getting ready for my first real wild fishing experience :D. im taking my camper away for a few nights in the coming weeks and im not sure what to fish with. i have a 7_8 weight  scierra rod that i use on stocked waters but i am thinking it might be too heavy for wild fish, should i be thinking  about buying something lighter? would a 5-6 weight be ok or should i go lighter again? i plan to fish loch ba and maybe loch tulla, probably have a cast in some of the small lochans that are dotted around on rannoch moor too.
thanks in advance    flyboy.

I hate to advise someone to buy yet more gear, but I must say, you'll get more fun out of your fishing if you lighten up, so to speak.

A #5 rod will let you get more fun from the wee troot and you can always use a #6 line on it when the wind howls.
