Is this section dead? Or perhaps everyone is tying their own flies now :)

Anyone?

Otter Spotter

I am looking for someone to tie me 36 flies in size 14 they are kate mclarens and 2 types of kate variant - 1 dozen of each. I can send pictures to anyone willing do this for me. I know a kate is very common but a chap used to tie this specifically bushy type for me unfortunately he is no longer available.
Any help wi this gratefully received. If you drop me a pm I'll reply with the pictures (after I dig my fishing bag oot the garage!). I have 1 of each kind left used but useable so if neccessary I could send the flies.

Cheers for the help in advance,

Scott.

Goggs, have you any particular paterns in mind?.........are you looking for 15 different patterns?.......are they for river or loch fishing?

wee bri.

Bri, im looking for popular killing patterns for loch fishing. Can you help?

Otter Spotter

Apologies to Hans (I should have posted this earlier), he has tied me some excellent flies as I requested on here, quality and service were both top notch, so a big thanks to Hans for his efforts on my behalf!

Goggs,
I generally don't tie flies for other people as I'm a very slow tyer.
As it happens though I'll be tying up some loch flies in the near future.
I'm assuming you're not in a rush for them....there's 8 weeks to the start of the season anyway.
I'll pm you when they're ready.

wee bri...........

That would be much appreciated mate, just let me know in your own time  :D

I would like to thank the tyers who have participated in this scheme for their time and effort.

Only a month to the start of the Brown Trout season here in Scotland so if you are looking for those hard to get flies you better get asking before the tying season ends :)
