I don't want to derail Sandy's thread so won't comment on the endless 'friendly interaction' on FFF!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Just back from 2 weeks on the Conon. Aside from the usual load of buzzards and kites, I was watching ospreys feeding every day and even a goshawk was around for a day. Apparently a golden eagle was about the week before I got there. Brahan Estate and the surrounding area really is a haven for wildlife.

Never mind the Deer Hair Sedge or Carty's Lace Wing - meet the Broccoli Floret Emerger - top pattern for Albino Plecos. 😃

I never kept these fish back in the day and had no idea what personalities they have. Now that my 6 Sterbai have settled in it  is fascinating watching their antics. They appear to alternate between  resting up and active feeding like trout and pike both do.

Just used this gizmo. Brilliant! No fuss, no lugging heavy buckets around and no mess!
