I've never used it but have heard a lot of people praising it. I think it takes 24 hours to cure. You can also use it to seal the end of your fly line when using a needle knot or to cover a splice to smoothen it out.

Aquasure cerainly works a treat and if you put it in the freezer once you're finished, it keeps for ages.

Can anyone offer any advice on large holes?  In neoprene waders that is.  Some little b***ard rodent has chewed the toe out of my brothers stocking foot waders.
I have enough neoprene to cover the hole, but is there a "best way" to go about fixing it or are new waders required?

Reference the selotape this is just temporary to stop the Aquasure running through the hole and can be removed from the opposite side that you have applied the aquasure - it also serves to hold a piece of replacement neoprene in place if your filling a rodent hole etc. Can't vouch for other products but this stuff has been on my waders for about ten years no leaks / peeling / or other failure. It does take a day to set/dry but stops running after about 3hrs in normal conditions. Fixes neoprene's, rubbers, and cloth type waders. Best way to fix leaking seams is to put the Aquasure in the split seam and over it - then apply pressure with the bulldog clips or similar that you get on clip boards etc until set. Who ever invented the Aquasure must have upset a few of the wader manufacturers.......... no need to buy new just patch up the old!!

Must be the Scottish blood in me that sees great sense in patching and sod the cosmetics.
