Just been chased home by some of them. Biked along an old stalkers path into the hills towards Kintail and heard thunder moving steadily closer. Then the cloud started pouring over the pass I was heading towards so I turned tail and raced the 9 miles back to the car

I remember using that site before and it's great - but last time it had sound and now no matter what i do i can't get the sound to work.. it used to 'click or tap each time a strike happened...

If you click on America it sounds like Beirut sometimes :)

We ran away off the river at 8.30 pm. Apart from the wind dying away and the midgees, I was watching the rainfall radar and knew what was coming. Actually we could see and hear what was coming
30 minutes later i was doing 20 mph along a flooded road, fast wiper speed and in near darkness.....apart from the lightning strikes all around me. This morning alarm clock was several very loud claps of thunder at 5am. Bloody climate change!
