Title: Squashed flee hackles good as new
Post by: Ardbeg on November 08, 2005, 12:30:15 AM
Not had a post here for a while so I thought I'd post this auld chestnut.

Revive your squashed hackles to a state as good as new with new improved steam from the bilin' kettle.

Hold the flee over the spout as the kettle boils and the crushed hackle returns to it's former glory.  (mind and use tweezers or something though :? )

Things taken for granted have a habit of disappearing at a fair rate of knots.  Fuller's earth anyone?

Asda cat litter. Make sure you get the heavy stuff and not the lightweight. Also remember that fuller earth is just a  type of fine clay, anything similar does the job of a sinkant just as well.
