Title: Quick Descent dubbing
Post by: haresear on April 21, 2008, 01:15:58 AM
Has anybody tried this stuff? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?cmView=full&type=pod&id=0011397

I can think of a few applications for it, if it works.

Not tried it.

Little review here though: http://www.fishandfly.co.uk/tackleroom/flytying_1002.html

It might make some difference in terms of penetrating the water column on larger flies with chunky bodies cf. natural fur. Not sure how much though.

GAC do it, by the way. Hope its sinking speed is faster than their delivery time.

Aye - yer not kidding .D. - have just emailed them to complain about an order made a month ago online that's still not shown up and no communications to say what the hold up is. Thought online orders were meant to be fast?

Would check some of the other forums before ordering online from GAC. :D
As I stay in Glasgow if anybody wants me to go up to GAC and buy anything and post on send PM.  Within reason of course, not ?400 rods allowed. :D

Interesting stuff - might have to try it out.  Might work better blended with some hare or rabbit fur :think2
