Got the above book as a Christmas present and great book for anyone starting to tie flies and looking for ideas.  But also good read for the more experienced tyers

Looks good, I could do with something like this with a comprehensive list of loch style patterns, I'll look about for a second hand copy (cos I'm a cheapskate  :lol: )

I'll let you have a loan of mine.....nice pictures but I've got to say wasn't that impressed. The flies aren't that special and to be honest the inspiration on the fly tying section is a much better read.

Best comprehensive list of loch flies I have come across is Stans compilation book called Trout and Salmon Flies of Scotland, I refer to it all the time.

Flies of Ireland is quite good as well.
