The sizes given for volumes in the product description are quite wrong. The largest pot is about 7" across and the smaller is about 6.5 in diameter so they will not be holding 5.5 litres ! The pots are the usual sort of size.

That looks good, very lightweight. For all the times I actually use it, it would be fine. I'll check out my local tesco

Just got my set from the garage. The larger pot is 1.4ltr, the smaller one is 1.0ltr, the large lid is 7" across and smaller lid is 5.5" across and the fifth item is a gripper handle and there is a strap to keep the set together. Great value, not the thickest aluminium pots but they all only weigh about 260gms.

I have reserved one for collection at the local Tesco. For £8 you can't go wrong even if it only lasts a year or two. I'll only carry one pot + lid so it will be even lighter than 260g.

They are for sale on FleaBay for double that.

Have you got a link Fred? The one I'm looking at is £18 and £8 just for the kettle.

They will deliver it to your house for a few quid or send it to your local Tesco, free, for pick up.

That is the link I was trying to post earlier. I dragged the link to my desktop from the Tesco page and opened a reply on the forum but could not then either drag it into my reply nor find it on the desktop when I tried to open the Browse bit for an attachment. The day before I had loaded up some BLue Shrimp pictures and all was OK. Today the Browse bit is closing my Firefox. I have no idea what is now wrong with things. Come to that I have never been able to post a link !! I must be a right numpty.

Access denied for that link Fred.
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."
