Don't know if there are any other fans of waist waders out there - I certainly am. Ideal for the hill lochs where you do plenty of walking and rarely find yourself in above the knees.

Thought I'd post this link as this deal from Mullarkey's is probably the cheapest I've ever seen these priced at, £69.99 for stocking foot and £99.99 for boot foot. They are also doing the CC3 chesties for exactly the same prices!

Unfortunately, they want £18.95 to post them to Shetland which takes the shine off it a little for me  but still a good deal, I think.

Good link. These would do for 99 % of the fishing I do, river or loch. I can't recall the last time I waded deeper than testicle depth.

Warning to anyone buing these, get a size bigger than usual they are cut very tight compared to the other waders I have. I got them in large as there is a specification of no chesties on one of my river tickets, but should have got xl. Quality-wise though they are very good indeed, and have done me 2 seasons with no care whatsoever, so I would highly recommend them.
I used to be a surrealist but now I'm just fish.

...and to go with them? Just noticed these on the Orvis site. Don't know anything about them but with Orvis' rep for no hassle they may be a good buy. Considering getting these as a spare.
