I'm not looking for a multiple piece set, one pot, maybe two with a lid that is usable as a plate is enough. Preferably with a net bag to contain it and built in fold away handles.

Something about 0.75 to 1ltr capacity would be enough.

I'm not looking for the cheapest I'm prepared to pay a reasonable amount for something that is light, durable and that works.

Any recommendations?

Fred,
Look at my "Bargain Camping Pots" posting on July 23rd. Got from Tesco in Stirling. Excellent value :D :D

alocs titanium pot. Lid makes a plate or a frying pan. Handles fold back , I've had mine about 2years and its still in good nik. Cost about £45 / £50 but its light and tough.

I tend to use a jet boil or a kettle I don't usually tend to cook more than noodles and boiled eggs though

What do you want a plate for? :)

All I use is a 1 Litre aluminium pot, in fact it might be 1½ Litres, from an old set I have and a Trangia kettle and aluminium pot grip. The pot fits over the end of my rolled up tent so doesn't take up any room and the kettle gets packed with small items and slips in between everything else, the pot grab is used to hold the hot pot while eating out of it :) The water is boiled in the kettle and everything is made in the pot leaving enough in the kettle for a hot drink and a little for keeping the food residue in the pot, after eating, moist for cleaning.
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

Fred, Have a look at the set from Tesco. Only £8 at the Tesco Online and they are great value!!  It is called a Yellowstone 5 Piece Camping Cook Set. Looks like what you need. I have tried to put a link but my Firefox refuses to play today. Is this a result of Windows10 I wonder ?????
