Is that dry shake desiccant powder still available?  It's great for sorting out waterlogged CDC dries but I stopped using it due to the nonsensical price tag.

Is there a reasonably priced alternative?

I did read somewhere that the desiccant powder in the little bags that come inside some electronic packages works.
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

I use these in vacuum sealed bags to keep 3D printer filament dry. (high humidity fecks the stuff and I live in Lochaber).
Easy enough to "recharge" in a few minutes in the microwave.
Should work in a sealed bag.
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."
