Anyone had any great success with this battleship of a fly :shock: Caught a few late evening,and into the night with this fly,but more often than not it's slashes and boil's and no hook up's.Itend to put this down too it being very high riding :roll: what you say lad's :D

They are trying to drown it. When they slash at it don't strike hard, just lift your rod to set the hook. If you don't feel anything drop your rod top and take up the slack and retrieve slowly. The fish will either take the fly again or take a wet fly on the dropper, assuming you are fishing more than one fly.
