Title: marabou by the curtain-load
Post by: corsican dave on September 12, 2016, 09:46:35 AM
if you pop into the ghastly establishment called dunelm mills and look round their haberdashery dept, you'll find a rack of materials called "facings". there's marabou strip available by the metre, I think it was around £1.20/m. each metre has at least the same number of marabou plumes as an entire pack of fly tying material. bit of a limited colour range, but even so.....

i'm still looking out for a source of chenille, tho' .........

Will have a gander when I get home! Pretty sure I have loads of chenille I've never used if you need some!
