Driving up the road today and the May flower is out :shock: The earliest I have seen the Hawthorn flowering up until now was the 12th so three days earlier, the norm is usually a few days either side of the 20th. Does that mean I can take the vest off? Ne'er cast a clout 'till the May be oot  :sun;

Oddly enough I saw some hawthorn flies yesterday, so named because they appear when hawthorns flower apparantly

Saw some flying ants during the week, think its a bit early for them as well.
