Title: Magpie Feathers
Post by: Black-Don on February 10, 2011, 04:13:25 PM
Can anyone suggest any patterns using Magpie and which feathers are best.

I'm expecting to have some available soon (http://www.gifmania.sg/sports/hunting/caza.gif)

Tasty.

Didn't think to do a search.

I also found a Davie MacPhail video for a Magpie and silver which looks a nice too.

Anyone any idea where to get traditional tinsel in gold and silver ?

Breac has a pattern that works very well
its
The Mauler
tail Tippets
body peacock hurl
gold rib
black and red game placed back to back and palmered
wing Magpie Centre tail feather

Fully intend adding one of these to the flee box for next season too.

Now, where's me gun.
