I seen it on the Orkney site so decided to tie some up and give them a bash.

Somebody was telling me that ice cream shops shut down in Brora.Never been in for a few seasons but  was told it had gone now so the mint choc chip will be hit  in the heed next time im going thru

Noooo! They can't shut that ice cream shop. It was the best one i had ever been to. :(

A superb early season pattern.
Dressing is as folllows.

Thread - Orange UTC
Body - Orange Seals Fur
Hackle - Black Cock tied in at bend and palmered towards head, it is tied this way as there is no rib.
Head Hackle - Longish Black Hen.

Yes, you are right about it being on the Orkney site. I gave it to them about 4 years ago for their virtual fly box. I have also put 5 patterns worth trying on " members fly box".
