Enamel Paint / Hard as Nails - don't

I just tried ?protecting? eyes  I had painted onto some dumbbell streamer eyes with Humbrol enamel by coating them with Sally Hansen ?Hard as Nails?.   The enamel  took 24 hours to dry and 1 minute to blister and be totally destroyed by the hard as nails.  They are not compatible ? don?t try it.

Also done that before :roll:  If you're wanting to paint an eye onto dumbell eyes, best to use nail varnish and then coat it with a clear at the end to protect it

So glad you mentioned that, been thinking of trying something similar.
Must say, you took it well, I reckon I'd have turned into Ballistic Bob if I'd waited 24 hours for it to dry then fugazi a minute later .... :-)
