I was one of the dafties that paid big bucks for a first edition just about 6 months before the reprint came out despite making enquiries to the publishers to see if that was ever going to be the case.
Having said that a first edition is still worth about ?100 even today.
My Bert Sharp book on the other hand I got on E Bay for less than ?20 & would you believe it is a signed copy & dedicated to a person that is mentioned in the book so how it ended up on E bay is a bit of a mystery. I have been offered over ?100 for that one. Lets Fish again is the one I am missing, but one day it will join my other treasured reads.
Scottish Trout Flies.... W. H. Lawrie (First Edition)
The Practical Angler......Stewart (Not first edition but old 1927)

Here are a couple of my Clyde Flies for those that are not aware

Tight Lines
" The Future's Bright The Future's Wet Fly"

Well after many years of search and with the help of Scotty ansd East Wind I can now say I have a copy of Let's Fish Again. Some of the material is a repeat of various passages in Lets Fish the Clyde but a good read nonetheless. Thats me now got all three although the J reid is not a first edition.

Thanks agian.

The second book is about Arran, Clyde and Annanif I remember correctly.
