Not a species I like to see in captivity on welfare grounds. Few can provide an adequately sized aquarium for long term care and they have a habit of jumping.

But I've seen a few for sale complete with their yolk sack still intact due to them being harvested at a ridiculously young age. I guess their experience went something like this.

I don't understand the obsession with fish like these. As Jon stated very few people have the facilities for these fish. I've seen a few videos from Mick fish Uk and from what I can see he has some very large aquariums but personally I still think they are too small.
