Probably the most popular breakfast in Spain , very simple and healthy I have this nearly  every morning , well worth a try -

Start with one of those part baked baguettes , cut it in half and put it in the toaster.

While thats toasting grate a large tomato , the fresher the better.

Mix some extra virgin olive oil into the tomato, then I add a little dried garlic-the Spanish season it with salt but I prefer garlic and its better for your ticker etc

Prick the toasted bread with a knife and add more oil.

Spread tomato on bread and serve with strong coffee or in my case builders tea as I dont drink coffee.

Sitting in the Tenerife sun just now.

This sounds just what I fancy once I summon the strength to move.

it is the best breakfast you could imagine. and i'm speaking as a full English/Scottish man here... two good coffees and you're sorted for a day of rod-bending action :8)

is it just me, but I can't see the pictures?

thought i'd add one in
breakfast of champions (and Bob Nudd imitators)

Dunno , this happened last time I posted a few pics,Im using google photos shall try something else next time.

Anyway if you cant see anything its mashed up tomatoes on toast so your not missing a great deal  :D
