You will note the statement that SANA is completely against the imposition of rod licences and that the Esk DSFB members support the view of SANA.

But that the ASFB is in favour of licencing..... divide and conquer.....
It's fair to say that there are differing views on most things angling related. Some anglers are also in favour of licenses if posts on certain other forums are anything to go by. It's encouraging that SANA and the Esks DSFB are against them, this blows apart some of the more "exotic" and very ill informed conspiracy theories I have read. SANA, like them or loath them, will have more influence than individual anglers with axes to grind and in my opinion should be supported and applauded for taking this position as should the Esks DSFB.
