Instructions assume right-handed tyers
HOOK ? LeP?cheur #8 double
THREAD ? Red 6/0
TAIL ? Purple Bucktail + 4 strands Pearl Chrystal Hair
BODY ? Pearl Flash Bright
WING ? Dyed Purple Golden Pheasant Tippet
HACKLE ? Purple Cock
HEAD ? Red
STEP 1
Attach the thread and wrap towards the bend, catching in the tail as you go.

Followed by the Chrystal hair.

STEP 2
Apply a generous pinch of dubbing to the thread.

Then wrap to form the body.

STEP 3
Build a thread base ready for the wing.

Then tie the wing in flat over the body.

STEP 4
Tie in the hackle.

Form a neat head, whipfinish and varnish for the completed fly.
