Title: Red Tag, step by step
Post by: Hans on March 12, 2007, 01:34:26 PM
What it represents? I have no idea, but it's a very simple fly to tie, and very effective as well.
Hook:            TMC 102Y or any dry fly hook, Size 12 down to 18
Thread:          Danville's 6/0, black or dark brown
Tag:              Red wool
Body:             Peacock-fibres, ball shaped
Hackle:           Brown cock

Good step by step Hans.
If I may point out though, that is the dry version. If you substitute hen hackle for the cock you have a very good wet fly.
