Had this emailed through from my mate ...seems they were shot in Holland ...first image shows the heron with a rabbit in its beak

It then flew off to water and proceeded to drown the poor thing..

Then the last shot the bird eating the whole rabbit
[attachimg=3]

Now what chance have any small fish have ?

must have been a Netherland dwarf...

Interesting behavior drowning, perhaps not for a heron but I've heard of sparrowhawks drowning birds.
