By the Well of the Seven Heads on the A82 by the shore of Loch Oich is a well-tended free parking and picnic site, owned and managed by Forestry and Land (the Forestry Commission to us oldies). There is also a public slip to launch onto Oich,
Well there was, not any more. Due to contamination with human waste it is now closed and locked. What about right of access, wild camping and all that? Sorry chum, no way, Health and Safety issue now mate. Piss off.
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

Depressing isn't it.  :(

It is just the inevitable consequence of the access legislation where all sorts are encouraged to go where they like (and behave in a manner they would in their urban shitholes).
We can expect much more of the same.

Indeed Gordon, the genie is out of the bottle I'm afraid and there is no way the current crop of incompetents have the will or the means to ram it back in.

Especially now with the "Green" take over things will now only get worse and shitting on the Seven Heads will look like the good old days before long.
