This impressive trout (a cock fish with a big kype) was taken by a salmon angler I know earlier this week on the lower of the 2 council beats. On the same day his son took a 3 and a 4 lb trout.
The self appointed Aberdeenshire Fish Police should note all fish were returned safely, so no need to release the hounds this time. (Yes, they were out of season, but these guys are 100% c+r anyway).
