Title: Esk Rivers Trust - Japanese Knotweed Removal On The Bervie Water
Post by: Wildfisher on August 31, 2012, 07:14:01 PM
The Esk Rivers Trust has undertaken the task of Japanese Knotweed removal on the Bervie Water in South Aberdeenshire. Anyone who  has fished this small river over the past 20 years or so will appreciate the enormity of this  task.

The Bervie, although it gets reasonable back end  runs of salmon and sea trout cannot, by any stretch of the imagination be classed as a high value money spinning water. Don't know about you, but when I see effort being made to improve waters that ordinary anglers fish for a few pounds / day,   it never fails to impress me.
