St Johns and Toftingall good for mayfly. Hugo Ross's shop now is closed but go via the phone number. St Johns get a permit from the caravan site shop just nearby.

Aquariums & Fish Keeping / Water powered tank vac.
Last post by Wildfisher - Today at 09:30:41 AM
Got one of these. Remarkably efficient.

Couples to a tap and uses the water pressure to create a vacuum and a siphon. No need for a head of water, this works even if the inlet and outlet are on the same  level. Flick 2 switches to reverse the flow and refill the tank. coms with various fittings and standard hose connectors.

Any suggestions for cable clips to tidy up these wires?

Tank is nice and clear now. I'm resisting the urge to add more plants as the current crop will grow!

I'll do another water test tomorrow and if OK add a few dither fish! :)

As far as the Corys go I think I'll get 1/2 dozen Sterbai if I can get them locally.

Quote from: Wildfisher on Yesterday at 09:18:42 PMLooking good Sandy, nice rocks too.

What's going in there?

Was Angels because it is a tall tank, then I thought Kribensis, then I saw a breeding pair of Mbuna in the pet shop. I still think Kribs though I bred them years ago so have a soft spot for them.
