well, apparently the scourie hotel has been sold and the new owners are up and running, although the web-site hasn't been updated. there's one very good review on trip advisor that suggests some of the décor has been re-vamped and that the service is as good as ever. however, it's not without some trepidation that we approach our annual jaunt next week; not the least because the weather looks worse than usual :lol:

ps Patrick; if you're reading this I'd just like to thank you & Judy for your hospitality and friendship over the last few years. what you achieved with the scourie hotel was incredible. have a very happy retirement, you thoroughly deserve it!! :D (probably bonefishing in the Bahamas.... :roll: :lol:)
