Replacement Greys Rod

My Greys GRX 10' #6 broke recently, due to some degradation on the blank i contacted Greys to ask for some feedback.  Based on how i described how the rod had degraded over time they have offered a 50% discount on a replacement rod.

I asked them what rod they currently had on sale with a casting action similar to my GRX, to my mind the GRX was a middle to tip rod, more middle than tip.

They have suggested a GR70, anyone got anything good/bad to say about them?

Are there other Greys rods i should be looking at as a replacement instead of the GR70?
