4 sided fly box

Bought a nice flybox the other day (see photo)
I have used 4 sided boxes for a few years, I find its easier to just carry one box

got mine on eBay 10 quid and ?2.50 postage

other than buying from this guy I have no other connection with him, they just seem good value

They certainly do. One sees a lot of these C&F type boxes on the market. Some good, some indifferent. This one seems like the former & a good price to boot.

The seller is Mike Allan who owns the Border Angling Centre in Galashiels. I've bought some pike fly fishing gear and waders from him and I always pop in when I'm down fishing on the Tweed. Seems a decent bloke.

I think if you stagger the flies it should be alright. The foam looks to be a good depth.
