Title: Durris Shrimp aka Shitey Whitey
Post by: Robbie on July 11, 2020, 11:24:15 AM
Thought I better make use of the great resource this forum offers before it is lost forever.

So does any one know the pattern for the Durris Shrimp aka Shitey Whitey?  I have come across a couple of different things so any others would be interesting.

There is a picture of a handful tied by Stuart Foxall on Edwin`s page. Edwin invented the fly and he seemed happy with them.

Thanks, found those now.

Kind of hard to tell exact materials and colours from photos but useful to see the proportions of the fly, especially when the originator approves of the tying.

Of note is how sparse the flies are. That is key.

Ask the man himself on Facebook about the colours. He is a decent bloke.
