They would like to introduce 200 to 300. I'm not sure who their supplier would be. Perhaps some Romanies will carry out a trapping scheme.

There's no room, food or liking for a native Wild Cat and they want to throw in an animal that requires a lot more of all these and more, stupidity of the lowest order, these animals will suffer, we are surrounded with idiots living in some utopian dream world. A small country with a quite large population living rurally living with livestock, conflict before the animals have arrived, farmers are killing vegetarian Beavers, Lynx have got no chance sadly.

Not too many non-interbred true wild cats left now !!  Plenty roe deer for the lynx at the moment and then they can upgrade to lambs and similar.
