Title: The Advantages Of Being Yellow
Post by: Wildfisher on July 21, 2021, 08:09:10 PM
Looking after my son's cream-yellow lab this week. Have taken about 20 ticks off him over the past 3 days. They are easy to see on his coat and if you are observant  you can get them off before they burrow in.

This area, the woods in particular,  is infested with ticks, it is unreal.

They are going to have to start sheep dipping again or they are going to get to epidemic proportions. I even got one in my back garden.

My son is in front line medical care and he was telling me that it's now estimated that most UK ticks carry Lyme disease.

You have to hand it to the EU, their tick distribution initiative has been a major success over the past few decades.

Tick borne encephalitis is a serious problem across Europe  but not yet here. Mrs Bobfly is my tick diverting device and seems still to be effective!!!!
